This is Absolutely AMAZING, It’s called the V-MOTION PROJECT.

This is also the official music video for “Can’t Help Myself” shot on the streets of Auckland, New Zealand when The V Motion Project team created music through movement.

In a nutshell it is live motion based MUSIC triggering.

INFO FOR THE CREATORS OF THE V_MOTION:

The Motion Project was a collaboration between a lot of clever creative people working together to create a machine that turns motion into music. The client for the project, Frucor (makers of V energy drink), together with their agency Colenso BBDO, kitted-out a warehouse space for this project to grow in and gathered together a group of talented people from a number of creative fields.

We created and designed the live visual spectacle with a music video being produced from the results. We wanted it to be clear that the technology was real and actually being played live. The interface plays a key role in illustrating the idea of the instrument and we designed it to highlight the audio being controlled by the dancer. Design elements like real time tracking and samples being drawn on as they are played all add to authenticity of the performance. The visuals are all created live and the music video is essentially a real document of the night.

The Cape Town Electronic Music Festival 2012 full video

The CTEMF is a electronic musical festival that takes place in The Mother City Cape-Town, South-Africa

This is a great video recap of this year’s and the first Electronic Music festival in Cape-Town .

Next year is going to be even bigger and better and has some international acts coming down, I honestly think the CTEMF has the potential to become one of the biggest around in time.

Next years going to be a 5 days festival, two more day than this years, whoop .

Holy Ship!

This is a video recap of this years Holy Ship cruise, I know it happened earlier this year but it is a must share video.

HOLY SHIP is a 3 day cruise aboard the MSC Poesia, a 93,000-ton luxury cruise liner from Fort Lauderdale to Port Lucaya in the Bahamas with a massive blowout on a private party island in the Caribbean along the way, With artists like Fatboy Slim, Skrillex, Diplo, A-Trak, Steve Aoki and Rusko all on the decks across 7 dance floors.
